Description: NASA is seeking input for a possible Phase 2 of the Deep Space Food Challenge with a proposed opening in January 2022. The challenge objective is to identify and foster the development and demonstration of novel technologies, systems, and/or approaches for food production for long duration space exploration missions. This RFI seeks: (1) to gather feedback on the structure and timeline of the competition being considered; (2) to gather feedback on the proposed prize amounts and distribution structure; and (3) determine the interest level or resources to support the Teams in their prototype build and/or testing requirements.�
