- The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard & Intermediate Maintenance Facility(PSNS & IMF) is conducting market research to determine industry capability and interest in performing Maintenance on 15 Meter Work Boat 9207 (15MWB9207). Work will be accomplished at the Contractor's facility. The Government is seeking responsesfrom sources that can perform the following work: 15 METER WORK BOAT 9207��������� Built by: GULF COPPER MFR CORP. Length: 50 FT Draft: 3 FT Width: 14 FT � 5 IN Full Displacement: 41.4LT Age:�28 YRS Light Load: 22.5 LT Hull Type: Steel Scope Overview: �Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton to the Contractor�s facility. Dock the vessel.� Wash, and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessel upon docking. Remove existing fender material and pusher pads from hull, sweep blast and preserve. Replace damaged fender sections. Replace hull zinc anodes. Replace sea chest zinc anodes. Blast, inspect and preserve the Hull and void covers. Replace Main Deck and Catwalk Non-Skid. Accomplish an Ultrasonic test (UT) measurement and visual inspection (VT) of the hull. Open, Clean, Pump, maintain clean and dry each tank/void. Inspect tanks/Voids for defects. Air-test each Tank/void and Skeg. Identify each Tank/Void. Accomplish a final closure inspection of each tank/void upon completion of all work. Install new tank gaskets and fasteners. Replace watertight door and hatch gaskets. Remove and repair propulsion shafting, shaft bearings, seals, rudder and propeller.� Perform steering system inspection and repairs. Inspect hull docking drain plugs and Skeg drain plugs. �Manufacture and install labels. �Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessel back to the Government with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The notional schedule is listed below is provided for planning purposes only. The government is notobligated to pursue this schedule or a future solicitation because of this Sources Sought. 15MWB9207 Period of Performance: May 2022 through June 2022 What/Where to Submit: Interested companies should submit, on company letterhead, a notice of interestincluding the name, telephone number, mailing address, and e-mail address of one point of contact. Does your company have the necessary organization, experience, accounting and operational controls,and technical skills, or the ability to obtain them (including, as appropriate, such elements as productioncontrol procedures, property control systems, quality assurance measures, and safety programs applicableto materials to be produced or services to be performed by the prospective contractor and subcontractors)? 4.
