For Sources with Mobile Batch Plants: How much area (in acres) would you need to stand up a ready-mix batch plant to meet the various concrete strength requirements as specified in the description above? The areas at minimum should include the batch plant, cement storage silos, and aggregate stockpiles. Please specify how you intend to import the aggregate and cement required to meet questions 1 through 4 for established ready-mix concrete batch plants? This is a RFI and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. It is emphasized that this RFI is for planning and information purposes only. NO PROPOSALS are being requested nor accepted under this notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Hawaii District will use information obtained under this notice to develop an acquisition strategy to help meet the needs for this procurement.
