Description

This notification serves as a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract to P.D.S. Consultants, Inc (071196179), 22 Rainbow Trail, Sparta, New Jersey. Under this contract the Contractor will provide eyeglass fabrication for the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS) for a period not to exceed 9 months. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is attached. The purpose of this notice is to publicize this contract action. This sole-source action is authorized under 41 USC §3304(a)(5), 38 U.S. Code § 8127(c), as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 (Authorized or Required by Statute). VAAR 819.7007 implements the authority for sole source awards to verified Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) under the Veterans First Contracting Program. P.D.S. Consultants is a verified SDVOSB. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
