Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office, NCO2 is currently conducting a market survey to locate qualified Veteran owned firms capable of fulfilling a requirement for a new refuse (garbage) truck with a trade allowance. The Canandaigua VA Medical Center has a requirement to replace its current vehicle with a new truck for daily garbage collection and transport to the county s landfill. Capable vendors shall be Vet owned (VOSB, SDVOSB) business registered with vet.biz / VIP, be available for award through sam.gov and be able to meet the specifications with a trade allowance for the VAMC s existing vehicle as listed below. Specifications: New Freightliner M2-106 or equivalent Refuse Truck with 18 Yd Packer. Cummins B67 -240HP or equivalent Engine Allison Auto 2500 Rugged Duty Series or equivalent Transmission. Additionally, those interested and capable shall provide a designated point of contact, the business DUNS Number, confirmation of Vet.biz / VIP registration in their response to this posting. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 333924. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS code 333924. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, examples of similar facilities for which you have provided services to, DUNS number, address, point of contact and social-economic status of Veteran Owned or Service-Disabled Veteran Owned. Vendor capability statements for those not VERIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov) will not be considered. This notice is specifically limited to service-disabled vet owned and vet owned businesses.
