Description

This pre-solicitation notice serves as a synopsis and is posted in accordance with FAR subpart 5.2, Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions.� This is not a solicitation.� Offerors should not submit proposals until the solicitation is posted to SAM.gov. The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) has a requirement to provide a comprehensive high school education program for (grades 9-12) for approximately 200 students with a broad range of educational needs, all of whom are dependent children of DoD personnel, residing on or near the West Point Military Reservation.� This secondary education program shall include Advanced Placement�, Regents, and Regents with Distinction courses (or equivalent), special education services, Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS), differentiated instruction, counseling and post-secondary advisement services, along with extracurricular academic, arts and athletic activities, consistent with Federal and state laws and regulations.�� The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611110, (Elementary and Secondary Education), and the applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is U099, (Other Education and Training Services).� Interested offerors must be registered under the NAICS code in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting their proposals. DoDEA intends to issue solicitation No. HE1254-22-R-0002 in support of this requirement. This requirement will be procured using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation.� This requirement will be competed as unrestricted under full and open competition.� The anticipated award contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.� The anticipated posting date of the solicitation is on or about 22 November 2021 and an anticipated award date is on or about 28 February 2022. NOTE: At this time, there is no draft Performance Work Statement available for this pre-solicitation notice for Education Services for Eligible Dependent High School Students at West Point, NY requirement.
