- INDUSTRY DAY� UPDATE #1: Final Industry Day Procedures � In Person Attendance All in-person attendees are required to stop at the Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) Badging Office. The Badging Office is located in the NASA Wallops Flight Facility Building N-1 on Atlantic Road outside the Main Gate. WFF staff will be available to assist in badging and access to the main facilities. If you have not completed the Certification of Vaccination (available at https://go.nasa.gov/3lYBilh), you will be asked to complete the attestation upon your arrival at the Badging Office. If you are completing the form online, please use Colin Bornmann or Charles Brodell as the Sponsor. A member of the Sounding Rocket Program Office (SRPO) will be at the Badging Office to help with any questions or issues and provide a map/schedule of the day�s events. The Industry Day Presentation will begin at 0830 in building E-100 with a general overview of the Sounding Rocket Program. However, the auditorium will be opened at 0800 to allow for sign-in and seating. With the high in-person turnout and enhanced screening procedures, check-in at the Badging Office may take more time than usual. Please allow plenty of time to secure access at the Badging Office. There is also a limitation of persons inside the Badging Office which may lead to delay. The Badging Office will be open at 0700 with SRPO office personnel arriving at 0730. All persons attending in person will have to meet WFF entrance requirements as it pertains to COVID policies and restrictions. See the attached documents for further information. Masks MUST be worn at all times (except when outside or in personal vehicles). Final Industry Day Procedures � Virtual Attendance Microsoft TEAMS meeting invitations have been sent to those requesting virtual attendance. Any further requests must be� received by the Contracting Officer at colin.r.bornmann@nasa.gov by 1700 on November 11, 2021. The TEAMS meeting will be opened/started at 0800. Please note that there will be no formal programming until 0830. The morning TEAMS meeting will conclude at 1100. The afternoon TEAMS session will begin at 1600. The SRPO will monitor the chat section for questions and comments, but an e-mail message to colin.r.bornmann@nasa.gov might be more effective for quick resolutions. Please maintain online meeting protocol, including turning off your camera and muting your microphone. � The virtual tour videos have been uploaded to this announcement. They can be found in the attachments section. The Industry Day will be conducted both in person and virtually to accommodate concerns regarding the COVID pandemic, travel, and any related restrictions. It is up to prospective offerors to choose whether they will participate in person or virtually. The purpose of this message is to outline the activities planned for the industry and any restrictions necessary to allow both in-person and virtual tours of SRPO�s facilities and operations. Due to COVID guidelines, potential offerors are limited to two (2) participants for Industry Day. Offerors that are considering teaming arrangements are limited to five (5) participants total per team. Virtual participation will be facilitated through Microsoft TEAMS. Offerors, individuals, or interested parties who plan to attend the Industry Day virtually must provide the Contracting Officer in writing, at a minimum, full name of the attendee(s), identification of nationality (U.S. or specify other nation citizenship), Lawful Permanent Resident Numbers in the case of foreign nationals, affiliation and full office address/phone number. Except for foreign nationals, the identification information must be provided at least five (5) working days in advance of the conference. This information shall be provided at least ten (10) working days in advance of the conference for foreign nationals due to the longer badging and clearance processing time required. The Contracting Officer will provide a link to the TEAMS meeting to the requesting parties no later than Wednesday, November 10. Offerors, individuals, or interested parties who plan to attend the Industry Day in person must provide the Contracting Officer in writing, at a minimum, full name of the attendee(s), identification of nationality (U.S. or specify other nation citizenship), Lawful Permanent Resident Numbers in the case of foreign nationals, affiliation and full office address/phone number. Except for foreign nationals, the identification information must be provided at least five (5) working days in advance of the conference. This information shall be provided at least ten (10) working days in advance of the conference for foreign nationals due to the longer badging and clearance processing time required. Masks will be worn at all times (except when outside or in personal vehicles). Industry Day will kick off in building E-100 with a general overview of the SRP given by personnel from within SRPO. All in-person and virtual visitors will receive the briefing at the same time. Briefing Materials will be made available following the tour. A detailed schedule will be provided. Q/A session will be held following the in-person tour. Following the SRP Overview, the in-person visitors will proceed to Building F-10, the main SRP manufacturing location. The group may have to be split into smaller groups to adhere to COVID related restrictions. Travel to these facilities will be via convoy; Individuals are requested to use their POV�s or rental car as a bus will not be provided. All participants in N4 Industry Day will be provided with a virtual tour of all SRP facilities. Will include facilities in the M-Area (explosives storage), Magnetic Calibration, Building F-10, Wallops Island, and WSMR. In- Person visitors will be touring Building F-10, Magnetic Calibration facility, and Wallops Island. Following the tour, a question and answer session will be conducted in building E-100 In-person and virtual visitors will be free to ask questions in this forum. Technical questions will not be permitted during the tour itself to ensure consistent messaging is delivered to all participants. Industry Day will conclude at 1630.
