- UPDATED INFO 12 November 2021 This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to award one or more Other Transaction (OT) Agreement(s) for Soldier Virtual Trainer (SVT) prototype utilizing the authority of 10 USC �2371b. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) is publishing this RFI to solicit white papers, demonstration plans, and competitively award one or multiple OT agreements for prototype projects. RFI responses will also provide the Government the timelines and roadmaps to complete the development of the SVT capabilities Weapons Skill Development (WSD), Use of Force (UoF), and Joint Fires Trainer (JFT)) hardware (HW) through STE-IS integration software (SW) utilizing an Agile development approach to enable the rapid prototyping and delivery of an integrated solution to meet the SVT Technical requirements (Attachment G).� Questions in response to this RFI shall be submitted no later than 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time (ET) on 19 November 2021.� Vendors responding to this RFI shall submit both the white paper and demonstration plan electronically no later than 11:00 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 13 December 2021. As discussed at Industry Day 1, the Government will not release an RFS for SVT and will be using an RFI. An RFI requesting White Paper responses will be posted early-November. The Government intends to make a down select based on Industry responses to the RFI. The Government reserves the right to award agreements from RFI responses to the respondent(s) whose solution substantiates to be most advantageous to the Government. Award(s) are anticipated 3QTR FY22. Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Industry Day #2 In order to participate in Industry Day #2 and/or ""1-on-1"" sessions, attendees will be restricted to vendors that hold a Facilities Clearance (FCL) and are FOCI mitigated. In order to determine eligibility, each vendor is requested to complete the attached form and provided it to the Agreements Specialist, Becky Hoyt at Rebecca.m.hoyt.civ@army.mil. We only require one form per vendor (if you previously submitted a form, you do not need to submit again). Industry Day #2 will be will be held via MS Teams on 17 November 2021 at 0900 ET. We request that approved vendors begin signing in at 0830 ET due to the vetting requirements to join Industry Day #2. There will be �1-on-1� discussions (20 min max) with Government representatives and Industry on 18 November 2021. Industry partners whom request a session need to do so when submitting their RSVP and not later than 10 November 2021. A �1-on-1� schedule will be established once all requests are collected. Begins at 12:00 ET Early November 2021: Draft RFS released Industry Day Mid-November 2021: Technical Discussion (**CUI information will be presented) December 2021/January 2022: Final RFS released One-on-Ones have been postponed until further notice. �A separate posting will be provided once additional info is available. **Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) will be briefed thus, the attendees will be restricted to vendors that hold a Facilities Clearance (FCL) and are FOCI mitigated. In order to participate in Industry Day and Vendor One-on-Ones, you must have submitted your Vendor Vetting Form and be approved to join. Approved vendors will receive an email with the link to join Industry Day. The Government will monitor the attendees and will remove any vendors that are not approved to participate. We are counting on our industry partners to comply with all security requirements and anyone who shares the info received, or commits an unauthorized disclosure to a non-approved vendor/individual shall be removed. Vendors will be required to RSVP to the second Industry Day once announced, but a separate Vendor Vetting Form will not be required if submitted for the first Industry Day. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) is conducting a Virtual Industry Day for the Soldier Virtual Trainer (SVT) program on 21 OCT 2021.� The event will provide industry the opportunity to engage PEO STRI on SVT requirements prior to the release of the SVT Request for Solutions. See below for the link to register. To facilitate the preparation and collaboration of information with Industry, PEO STRI is asking Industry to submit question(s)/clarification(s) in advance to tailor the briefings accordingly. Please submit your SVT question(s)/clarification(s) to Becky Hoyt, rebecca.m.hoyt.civ@mail.mil, by 6 OCT 2021 in one of the following topics areas: STE-IS/SVT Integration, Weapons Skills Development (WSD) capability, Use of Force (UoF) capability, � Joint Fires Training (JFT) capability. There will be �1-on-1� discussions (20 min max) with the government representatives and Industry on 22 OCT 2021.� Industry partners whom request a session need to do so by 5 OCT 2021. A �1-on-1� schedule will be established once all requests are collected. The SVT virtual Industry Day is scheduled for Thursday, 21�October�2021 @ 0900 EST.� Note that we will start promptly at 0900 EST. Registered individuals will be able to begin signing in for the session at 0830 EST.
