Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE AWARD This is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals.� This is not a solicitation.� No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored.� The USDA/Agricultural Research Service (ARS) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract on or about November 18, 2021, to Siemens Industry, Inc. under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b).� The purpose of this order is to provide the following to support the USDA/ARS/SEA, Sugarcane Research Unit, Houma, LA location. One service/maintenance agreement for Siemens Building Automation System and one Desigo Software Update for Headhouse/Storage Building (B052).� Period of Performance Dates:� 12/01/2021 � 11/30/2022. Responsible sources may submit technical capability statement along with business profile to Contract Specialist, Monte Jordan at monte.jordan@usda.gov no later than 3:00 p.m. CST, Wednesday, November 17, 2021, which shall be considered by the agency.� Any information received will be treated as market research information for future of same or similar requirements.� A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.� The Government will be the sole determiner regarding an offeror�s ability to meet all requirements.
