Description
The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and resources to support the requirement for Combat Support Service Very Small Aperture Terminal (CSS VSAT) software sustainment. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) is conducting this market survey notice to determine possible sources who are highly capable and interested in providing CSS VSAT Post Production Software Support (PPSS). The CSS VSAT is rapidly deployable to anywhere in the world, and is fully integrated into the Global Information Grid (GIG). The CSS VSAT provides worldwide data and voice communications, by accessing the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET) from any location in the world where a satellite signal can be transmitted and received. CSS VSAT software is commercial off-the-shelf (COTS). The Operating System (OS) is Windows 10, other COTS software are included in the OS; along with hardware components which may require occasional updates. This support will consist primarily of: software anomalies remediation, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) scanning and remediation, verification and validation, onsite technical lab support, to ensure the ongoing sustainability of all CSS VSAT software baselines.
