- Please note: This is a continuation RFI from 80SSC020K0002. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) John C. Stennis Space Center (SSC) Office of Procurement (OP) is seeking information from all sources with the capabilities and experience to provide the requirement described in this Request for Information (RFI). The purpose of this RFI is to present our Statement of Objectives and conduct an industry day to familiarize interested sources in our requirement. The intent is to gather data necessary to further develop requirements consistent with commercial industry practices. Areas of interest include identifying potential sources, commercial capabilities, availability of services, appropriate terms and conditions, etc. necessary to provide the required supplies/services for SSC. The NAICS Code and Size Standard for this requirement are 325120 and 1,000 employees, respectively. The market research information gathered from this RFI will be used to develop and plan potential future procurements. Based upon information submitted in response to this RFI, NASA will determine the final content of any future solicitation(s). A determination by the Government not to procure this requirement, based upon responses to this notice or other market research, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Although all comments received will be carefully reviewed and considered for inclusion in any possible later action, the initiators of this request make no commitment to include any recommendations. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the analysis of submissions received. This notice should not be construed as a formal Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Proposal (RFP) (solicitation). Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by NASA to form a binding contract. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to make a purchase, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited or be held liable for any information obtained. An industry day is planned for December 1, 2021. At the industry day an overview of the information in this announcement will be presented, and the interested parties will be provided an opportunity to visualize the layout of the test complex. All questions asked during the Industry day or otherwise are to be submitted no later than (NLT) December 6, 2021 at 3:00 pm local time (Central), to the email addresses as outlined below. Interested parties who plan to attend the industry day must submit the full name (as listed on the attendees Drivers� License) of the attendee(s), company name, identification of nationality (U.S. or specify other nation citizenship), to Melissa Wagner at melissa.r.wagner@nasa.gov (cc: stephen.d.penton@nasa.gov) NLT November 22, 2021. Please limit your request to two (2) company representatives.� Due to the time needed to approve foreign nationals for site access, foreign nationals will not be granted access to this industry day. All questions shall also be submitted via e-mail to Melissa Wagner at melissa.r.wagner@nasa.gov (cc: charles.j.heim@nasa.gov). Reference 80SSC022K0001 in any response. Faxed or telephone correspondence will not be accepted. Responses to questions asked is anticipated to be issued NLT December 10, 2021. Those companies who wish to express an interest to this RFI are asked to submit a written response to the questions posed within the Attachment titled �Nitrogen Generation System RFI�. Responses to this RFI shall be submitted NLT December 20, 2021, at 3:00 pm local time (Central). Submission of any information in response to this notice is completely voluntary. Responses should be based on the material contained in this notice and any other relevant information the contractor thinks is appropriate. Comments or suggestions relevant to this requirement are welcome and may also be included in the response. Contractors are welcome to submit any additional documentation that may support their ability to comply with the Government�s requirement. Please also state your business size in accordance to the above NAICS code. The RFI responses shall not include any proprietary or confidential business or financial information relating to specific companies. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released, it and any related documents, will only be issued electronically. They would be accessed and downloaded at beta.sam.gov website. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor these sites for the release of any additional information pertaining to this notice and download their own copy of any resulting solicitation and amendments (if any).
