Description
Expressions of Interest Sought The Department of Veterans Affairs, Gainesville Veterans Medical Center (VAMC) currently occupies parking space under Lease in Gainesville, Florida that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternative space ONLY if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replications of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The VA intends to continue occupancy in accordance with (IAW) authority outlined in GSAR 570.402 Succeeding Leases. Requirement: Seeking to lease 96 Parking Spaces in Gainesville, Florida for use as off-site Parking.  A lease up to 5 Years with 3 firm years and no options and with termination rights after 3 years firm term. Surface and Structured parking will be considered. The Lease must be handicapped accessible with a minimum of five reserve handicapped parking spaces or per local code. Parking Spaces must be Dedicated to VA only. The off-site parking space must be ready for occupancy no later than January 13, 2022.  Space must be within or fronting on the following boundaries will be considered (Delineated Area):  North: West University Ave  South: SE Williston Road  East: South Main Street  West: SW 34th Street    Expressions of interest shall include the following: Building/Parking Lot name, address, and age Location of the available parking spaces Building ownership information Amount of parking available on-site; include its cost of the expected rental rate per space Date of space availability   The above requirements must be satisfied to submit an expression of interest. If any of the above requirements are not met, your expression of interest will be considered non-responsive and will not be accepted. Your responses are due on or before November 24, 2021 at 2:00pm EST.
