Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD intends to issue a Task order/Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0042119G0006 for the procurement of the P-8 AAS Database. This requirement includes: *Procurement of an AAS Weapons Tactic Trainer (WTT) RADAR Source Data, NPSI data and associated integration support services and requisite system hardware for installation and integration on 4 WTTs (NAS Jacksonville, FL, and Richardson, TX). The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304 (c)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements� and in accordance with Class Justification and Approval Ser:� CJ&A 19-0390.� THIS REQUIREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS SOLE SOURCE.� THE NOTICE IS PUBLISHED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract for the effort described above. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is a notice that outlines the Government�s intent to contract on a sole source basis with Aechelon. No solicitation document is available.� All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, by providing capability statements. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. �Any information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� If no affirmative written response is received, the contract will be awarded without further notice prior to award. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.207-7004 Alt A, prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award.
