- Notice of intent to Sole Source N6883622Q0030 The Naval Supply (NAVSUP) Systems Command, Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville (FLCJ), FL intends to issue a sole source award to Hudson Technologies, using FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Certain Commercial Items in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, for the urgent need to procure services for Dehydration, Cleaning and Refrigerant flushing onboard USS Tennessee on Trident Refit Facilities, Kings Bay, GA. Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for a Dehydration, Cleaning and Refrigerant flushing services at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay Galley. Hudson Technologies is the nearest contractor with the required access and security clearances required to be able to complete the service. Trident Refit Facilities (TRF) requires proper clearances to commence services on 01NOV2021. Based on the Market Research, Hudson is the only company that has been able to perform this same type of service on the submarine. Inability to award to Hudson will result in a delay in TRF�s mission and meeting the scheduled sail date. The North American Industry Classification System(NAICS) code for this effort is 325120 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. Interested contractors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may respond by submitting qualifications/capabilities of the company by 10:00 AM EST, Monday, 01 November 2021 to the Contract Specialist Yaynel Yambo via email at yaynel.c.yambo.civ@us.navy.mil for consideration by the agency. If no affirmative responses are received by 10:00 AM EST, Monday, 01 November 2021 to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, a purchase order will be negotiated and awarded to Hudson Technologies.
