- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source contract to Telemedia, Inc. DBA TPC Training Systems located in Buffalo Grove, IL. The FAA proposes to acquire accredited, commercially developed, maintained, and delivered Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) training and certification that will align the FAA HVAC workforce with nationally recognized standards and credentials. The acquisition will utilize single source procedures. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. TPC Training Systems is the only known source capable of providing the full range of the FAA�s HVAC training course requirements, while also addressing a critical need for large volumes of training within a short training timeline. This announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Telemedia, Inc. DBA TPC Training Systems and is not available for full and open competition. Note: The FAR references cited in SAM.gov�are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).�
