Description: A market survey is being conducted in order to make acquisition decisions about this future project. If your firm is interested in this project please respond appropriately. This project is for the completion of Package A, the first of three planned renovation packages, to renovate the Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The requirements of Packages B and C of the Air Force Material Command Headquarters renovation are not detailed here and will be included with future market research. This project includes the repair, renovation, and modernization of over 60,000 square feet of secure and non-secure office space for the Air Force Materiel Command Headquarters, utilities installation, and site work located in Buildings 10262 and 10266 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, OH. The Scope of Work for Building 10262 in this project will include: � Civil/Site All stormwater and utility connections Entrapment area conversion to courtyard Pavement Reconstruction Parking modifications Demolition of Building 10277 (Generator Building) Temporary construction gate and Laydown area � Exterior Architecture Waterproofing Egress Improvements (to include added north and south egress doors) All entrances (including Hotel 1 and Hotel 2) Renovate breezeways Window replacement Removal and storage of AFMC Headquarters sign from the south side of the building. � Mechanical Relocate chillers and connections Elevator upgrades, plus an added elevator Air-handling systems for renovated areas � Re-Packaging � Electrical Building service and connections Standby generator Interior electric in renovated areas Installation of new Communications connections Installation and integration of new Building Access System Installation and integration of new Building CCTV Installation of new Lighting System Installation of Sound Masking System Fire Protection Install fire pump Life Safety/Fire Protection in renovated areas. Phasing considerations for fire control and egress Lighting and FF&E Interior renovation from concrete and new finishes to include new FF&E New Lightning Protection System The contract duration is estimated at 730 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $50,000,000 - $100,000,000. The NAICS code is 236220.�All interested Prime contractors and Subcontractors should respond to this survey via email by 29 November 2021 by 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. If interested in subcontracting opportunities rather than performing as the Prime Contractor on this procurement, please be sure to identify the feature(s) of work you are interested in, your business status, and your socio-economic category.� Complete Item 4 below for the feature(s) of work you are interested in. a. Responses should include: 1. Identification and verification of the company�s business status. 2. Contractor�s Unique Identifier Number and CAGE Code(s). 3. Documentation from the firm�s bonding company showing current single and aggregate performance and payment bond limits. 4. Descriptions of Experience � Interested construction firms must provide no more than three (3) example projects with either greater than 95 percent completion or projects completed in the past five (5) years where the interested firm served as the prime contractor. Each project must include the name, title, project role, e-mail address, and telephone number of at least one reference.� References may be used to verify project size, scope, dollar value, percentages and quality of performance. Example projects must be of similar size and scope.� b. Projects similar in scope to this project include: Phased Renovation of existing occupied office space to include the following: Civil work and exterior building/site improvements Renovation of life safety, fire alarm system, communication, IDS, and/or CCTV upgrades Interior demolition/modification to structural elements MEP and interior finishes Projects similar in size to this project include: Projects with multi-story building renovation of 45,000 square feet or greater will be considered similar in size. c. Based on the information above, for each project submitted, include: Current percentage of construction complete and the date when it was or will be completed. Scope of the project.� Size of the project. The dollar value of the construction contract and whether it was design-bid build or design-build. The percentage of work that was self-performed as project and/or construction management services or physical construction type work. Identify the number of subcontractors by construction trade utilized for each project. 5. Small Businesses are reminded under FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting (Sep 2021); they must perform at least 15% of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with the firm�s own employees for general construction-type procurement. Include the percentage of work that will be self performed on this project, and how it will be accomplished. NOTE: Total submittal package shall be no longer than 8 pages.
