- Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source NAVOCEANO intends to NON-COMPETITIVELY award a firm fixed price contract for below referenced supply requirement per FAR 13.106-1(b). No additional solicitation will be issued. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency within 5 calendar days after the date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Requirement: The Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) has a requirement to procure 500 each of either type or combination of the two Hydrophones (P/N:HTI-90-U-198PAR and/or P/N:HTI-90-U-186SER) and 1000 each recalibrations for either type or combination of the two each year over the life of the contract, and a minimum quantity of 25 each hydrophones and 90 recalibrations annually. Intended Source: High Tech Inc. Rationale for non-competitive award: The hydrophone must be compatible in all aspects (form, fit and function) with existing systems presently installed/performing. There are no U.S. distributors/resellers or existing contracts that can satisfy the requirement. Anticipated Award date of 30 November 21 The period of performance of the contract shall be for a five year ordering period.
