- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source Indefinite Delivery � Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract to Keysight Technologies, Inc. located in Santa Rosa, CA. The FAA intends to acquire Keysight Power Meters and Power Sensors in support of the deployment and maintenance of Distance Measuring Equipment (DMEs) within the National Airspace System (NAS). The acquisition will utilize single source procedures. In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a single source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. Keysight Technologies, Inc. is the only source capable of providing Power Meters and Power Sensors that are fully FAA qualified and meet all FAA performance requirements. This announcement is for informational purposes only and is not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to Keysight Technologies, Inc. and is not available for full and open competition. Note: The FAR references cited in SAM.gov are not applicable to the FAA as the FAA has its own policies and guidance referenced in the Acquisition Management System (AMS).
