THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 1901 as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)- Only One Responsible Source The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bio-Laboratories, 2000 Alfred Nobel Dr, Hercules, California, DUNS: 161196688. This is for a base period plus 4 option periods service maintenance agreement for NIEHS Bio-Rad QX200 Droplet Digital PCR Reader that allows the NIEHS Genomics Core Lab to perform droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) analyses in the most efficient manner available to us. The comprehensive service agreement includes parts, labor & travel for repairs, remote online and phone assistance, plus any software upgrades issued during the maintenance period of performance.
