- The purpose of this procurement is to obtain AIT support services for Ship Self-Defense Combat Systems. The scope includes planning and coordinating installation of Ship Self-Defense Combat Systems in/on Aircraft Carriers (Nuclear Propulsion) (CVN) and other strike group or strike force units (including Guided Missile Cruisers (CG), Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG), Littoral Combat Ships (LCS), Landing Helicopter Assaults (LHA), Landing Helicopter Decks (LHD), Landing Platform Docks (LPD), Dock Landing Ships (LSD) and other L-Class units, as well as providing services to support installations and upgrades of existing and experimental combat and weapons system technologies onboard the Self Defense Test Ship (ex-United States Ship (USS) PAUL F.
