Description

NASA/GSFC has a requirement for engineering services and related services to the Mission and Instrument Systems Engineering (M&ISE) services and related work to the Engineering and Technology Directorate's (ETD) Mission Engineering & Systems Analysis Division (MESA) and related organizations throughout GSFC as required for the formulation, design, development, fabrication, integration, testing, verification, and operations of guidance, navigation and control (GN&C) space flight and guidance system hardware and software, including development and validation of new technologies to enable future space and science missions. NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center intends to issue a sole source contract to Trident Vantage Systems (TVS) LLC on a sole source basis to increase the total contract ceiling value by $30M from $148M to $178M.. This is a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Single-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, NNG15CR65C.� The rationale supporting this sole source award to TVS, LLC is in accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, ""Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements� and is based on the nature of the work to be performed, the short duration of the extension period, and the fact that NASA/GSFC currently has a competitive follow-on procurement underway.� The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to jasmine.n.jett@nasa.gov not later than 3:00 p.m. EST on 12/03/2021.� Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.� A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
