Description
The reason for the synopsis reposting for N00244-22-R-0011 is to modify the POC email address. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego, Contracting Department intends to solicit Firm Fixed Price, Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts utilizing procedures under FAR Part 15. The requirement provides weekly affreightment of potable water and dry cargo in support of military operations based at the Naval Auxiliary Field on San Clemente Island. The service will be used for ocean cargo shipment between Naval Base San Diego, CA; San Clemente Island, CA; and Naval Air Station North Island, CA. The period of performance will be for one base year with four one year options. The applicable NAICS code is 336612, business size: 1,000 Employees. This procurement will be released as a total small business set-aside. The complete solicitation will be available on or about 30 calendar days from the date of this notice, N00244-22-R-0011, by downloading the documents at the Federal Business Opportunities website, https://www.sam.gov, or the NECO website, https://www.neco.navy.mil. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for award. Contractors may obtain information on registration and confirmation requirements via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov.
