- THIS IS AMENDMENT 2 TO THE RFI This amendment adds UPDATED�draft technical documents and contract sections L&M, for vendor review and comment. These draft documents are being provided in preparation for the release of the Phase A Study RFP which is currently planned for January 2022. Prior to that release the Government wants to ensure that all documentation is clear and understandable to the vendor community. Please review the updated draft documents and contract sections L&M and provide comments back to the Government no later than December 10 at 3:00 PM Eastern Time.� All comments and any questions regarding this amendment shall be directed to Lisa Mullen, in writing, at Lisa.A.Mullen@nasa.gov. THIS IS AMENDMENT I TO THE RFI.� THE GOVERNMENT HAS REMOVED THE SPACE WEATHER INSTRUMENTS FROM THE EAST / WEST SPACECRAFT, NOW KNOWN AS THE GeoI�SPACECRAFT OR OBSERVATORY AND MODIFIED REQUIREMENTS IN SECTION 4.3.2.2 (items #6 and #7). THE GOVERNMENT IS ASKING FOR CONCEPT RESPONSES TO THE AMENDED�RFI WHICH IS ATTACHED.� ALSO ATTACHED ARE REVISED�TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS, UPLOADED AS ""AMENDED""�WHICH SHOULD BE USED RATHER THAN THE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS THAT WERE ORGINALLY UPLOADED.� THE ONLY TWO DOCUMENTS WITHOUT THE NAME ""AMENDED"" ARE THE MEL AND THE MAR.� PLEASE REFER TO THOSE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.� ALL ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS STILL RESIDE IN ATTACHMENTS. PLEASE NOTE THAT CONCEPT DESIGN RESPONSES ARE DUE OCTOBER 6, 2021, NO LATER THAN 1:00 PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. NO PROPOSALS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE.
