REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE M00263-22-R-1000:� Branded Furniture The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Marine Corps Recruit Depot-Parris Island, SC (MCRDPI) is issuing this RFI, SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE �in support of market research efforts to identify potential, Small Business contractors to support the United States Marine Corps Recruiting Command�s (MCRC) Branded Furniture requirement. A draft RFP is also provided with this RFI. In accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 15, a procurement may result in a Requirements contract with a five (5) year ordering period for delivering and installing branded office furniture for the Marine Corps Districts (MCD) and subordinate Recruiting Stations (RS) and Recruiting Substations (RSS) located throughout the country. A Draft RFP is also provided with this RFI. NAICS Code 337214 applies to this RFI.� This RFI is to be used for market research purposes only. The Government is seeking responses from small businesses capable of meeting the Branded Furniture requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Responses to this announcement are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responses will not be used for evaluation in any resultant contract for this requirement. Please note that this requirement is in the developmental phase and the requirements summary and information provided is subject to change. The government shall not be held responsible for any costs incurred in response to this RFI. Participation is strictly voluntary. All RFI responses shall be received by 1:00PM EST on 6 December 2021. Delivery, installation, set-up, and removal of furniture will be to various locations within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside Continental United States (OCONUS). This procurement is under The NAICS Codes 337214 (Office furniture (except wood) manufacturing). The expected ordering period is expected to be from 26 September 2022 to 25 September 2027. Award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Requirements contract is anticipated. � See attached draft RFP M00263-22-R-1000, Section 2 �Specificatons For Individual Branded Furniture Items� for additional detail regarding the Requirement. Submission Content: Interested respondents should submit a capabilities statement package. �Included in the capabilities statement package, respondents should address the questions listed below in order for MCRC to gain further information on how to proceed with this requirement. Also, please provide examples of previous contracts awards for similar items. � At a minimum, the package shall address the following: 1. Title of the requirement, Company Name, Physical Address, Website Address, and POC (to include phone number and email address). 2. Company profile to include office location(s), CAGE Code, statement regarding current small business status, and verification of System for Award Management (SAM) registration. 3. Prior/current corporate experience (private and/or government) performing efforts of similar size and scope within the last three (3) years. Statements should describe the dollar value, indicate whether your firm acted as the prime or subcontractor, list of customer Point(s) of Contact with phone number(s), and provide description of the experience and how the referenced experience relates to the requirements as described in the draft document attached. Pictures of work should be included as a visual representation of prior efforts. Before and after pictures may be used to demonstrate quality and durability. 4. Description regarding capability to meet requirements provided in the draft RFP. 5. Responses to the following questions: a. What is a realistic timeframe to receive finished product, once ordered (lead time after receipt of order)? b. Does your company have internal or external capabilities to assemble furniture at delivery locations across CONUS and OCONUS locations? c.� The furniture delivered and assembled at the delivery locations will replace furniture currently at the locations across CONUS and OCONUS.� Does your company have internal or external capabilities to remove the current furniture on the same day that you deliver the new furniture? d. What is the estimated life span of the product? If your company offers different brands, types and levels, please provide the life span of each. e. Are there any specific maintenance considerations(Dos and Don�ts) for this type of furniture? f. What type of warranty does your company offer? What is your standard commercial off the shelf warranty? g. Does your company have the capability to provide a technical onsite display as referenced in Section L 4.5, �Pre-Proposal Site Visit Mock-Up/Display.� 6. Pricing Estimate a. Provide a �pricing estimate by item, extended pricing, and total based on the requirement definition. b. The Government is requesting pricing structure input based on commercial, pricing practices for this requirement that will be fair and reasonable for both the Government and Industry, and will ensure the best value for the U.S. taxpayer. The Government�s preference is an Indefinite Delivery-Requirements contract with a three (3) � five (5) years ordering period. Historically, for this commercial item acquisition, the Government has executed a firm-fixed-price contract, but is considering a fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment. c.� The current contract does not require purchases less than the micropurchase threshold ($10,000) (MPT) to use the Government Commercial Purchase Card(GCPC). To faciliate MPT order, the Government would like to include GCPC as a method of procurement and payment. Would your company require minimum order value for GCPC purchase & payment that is required to maintain the contract pricing?� If so, please state the minimum value you would require. Note: Pricing will be used for Market Research purposes only and will not be shared with other contractors. Pricing provided will have no impact on the evaluation of formal proposals during the official solicitation and award process. 7. After reviewing this RFI, are there any other concerns or comments that you have regarding this requirement? Responses/Questions shall be submitted by email to NO LATER THAN 1:00 P.M.
