- Request For Information (RFI) � Wide Range of Strategic Communications Support for the Drug Enforcement Administration The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI), as defined in FAR 15.201(e).� The information received as a result of this request will serve as a market and technology survey to assist the DEA in its technical development and acquisition strategy.� THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY FOR THE PURPOSES OF CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH AND GAUGING INDUSTRY INTEREST AND CAPABILITY.� THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME.� Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.� Unsolicited proposals or offers of any kind will not be considered in response to this notice.� The Government will handle all information received in response to this notice that is marked as proprietary accordingly. Please note that participation in this sources sought is optional, and not mandatory or necessary for future participation as an offeror in a related solicitation for this requirement.� BACKGROUND DEA is continuing to work with the Department of Justice, the Office of National Drug Control Policy, and other federal agencies to address the ongoing drug abuse threats across the country.� The DEA is soliciting information regarding the availability and capability of those companies who can provide an extensive range of strategic communications and associated support services that are vital to the support of Agency leadership.� REQUIREMENTS Communications and messaging both within the DEA, and externally to its partners, media, and the general public are an essential component of its education and enforcement missions.� The following list of specific competencies depicts a representative sample of critical skills/knowledge/experience required to support this effort: Strategic communications support. �Support proactive, high-level initiatives reflecting DEA�s strategic priorities; integrate strategic messaging across all channels of communications; build and advance both proactive and reactive agendas; support high-profile initiatives; ensure agile/nimble strategic communications posturing to anticipate, drive, and respond to communications opportunities. Writing and editing. �Support writing, editing, research, speechwriting, and internal/external messaging development and dissemination to advance DEA�s mission and strategic priorities. Media support. �Support media monitoring and analysis, media guidance and training, crisis communications, media responses and inquiries, and proactive media opportunities to advance DEA�s mission and strategic priorities. Communications planning and execution. �Develop and execute communications plans to include messaging, milestones, deliverables, key stakeholders, roles and responsibilities for plan roll-outs, communications channels and tools to leverage, and metrics to track progress and success. Digital support. �Social media and website content planning, coordination, and execution in line with strategic messaging, DEA vision/priorities, and intended audience reach. Website development.� Redesign DEA.gov external website to look more modern, more elite, and directly reflect DEA�s mission, strategic priorities, and intended audience and messaging reach. Your response should include the following: Tailored corporate capability statement (not to exceed 15 pages) addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of �technical competencies, experience, organization and staff capability; A representative sample of contracts your firm has been awarded within the last three years that directly supports requirements as described in this RFI.� For each contract listed, please provide only the following information: the type of contract, total estimated value, contract period of performance, customer (i.e. Federal Agency) and respective point of contact (name, phone number, email address);�� If your corporation cannot support all of 6 requirements listed above, clearly indicate which of these requirements your firm can support.� Responses from firms which cannot support at least a majority of listed requirements will not be reviewed further. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Corporate organizational charts or listings only (not text) of proposed team members will not count toward the corporate capabilities page limitation.� � SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS Interested sources are asked to provide their responses in Times New Roman, 12 point font.� Responses must include the following information: Company name; mailing address; physical address; point of contact; telephone number, fax number; e-mail address, DUNS number; NAICS code; and GSA schedule number (if appropriate) State whether your firm is: large, or �8(a) certified, a small disadvantaged business, a woman-owned business, HUBZone certified or service disabled veteran-owned small business, Alaska Native Corporation. All responses to this notice shall be submitted in writing to Lisa Taylor, Lisa.Taylor2@usdoj.gov not later than 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on November 26 2021.
