Vertex Solutions current project with the 19 AF maintains and supports new and existing PTT devices' (common Immersive Training Devices (cITDs), portable ITDs (pITDs), and Immersive Content Devices (ICDs)) solutions based on state-of-the-art commercial simulation environments, hardware solutions for the cockpit simulation environment, and ancillary software elements. Vertex performs the following requirements: Provides all services and equipment necessary to support and maintain devices; Maintains a common software interface to integrate current and future PTT software and hardware components as required by program goals, hardware solutions for the cockpit simulation environment, as well as on-premises network and data architecture hardware, and support, as appropriate for deployed training systems; Works with other prime and subcontractors to maintain scalable software and hardware component integration interfaces and communication standards, as well as a common style and user interface (UI) design across all components; and Performs all additional work necessary to support and maintain use of all required PTT devices including all integrated components. Vertex's is a large business and the one responsible source. Vertex�s project is still ongoing thus requiring the need for a sole-source follow-on contract.
