- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Missouri Basin Region, Billings Montana, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with University of Kansas, Lawrence KS for acquisition of long-term museum property curation services to provide long-term curation for Reclamation owned archeological or archeologically related paleontological collections currently in the physical custody of the repository for a base period and two option year periods. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources that believe they have the technical capability to meet this need may submit a bid, proposal, or capability statement along with business profile to Howard Heflin at hheflin@usbr.gov by 12:00 pm MST, December 3, 2021, which shall be considered by the agency. Any information received will be treated as market research information for future same or similar requirements. The Contracting Office reserves the right to pursue the sole source negotiation or to compete the requirement based on information received. This procurement shall be awarded using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, NAICS code 541990, with an intended period of performance ending 30 September 2024. Anticipated award date is 1 January 2022.
