- 36C25022Q0134 SPECIAL NOTICE NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AureFlo System The Cleveland Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd Cleveland, OH 44106 intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.1061(b)(1)-Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The NAICS code is 339113 with a small business size standard of 1000. The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with Transonic Systems Inc. 34 Dutch Mill Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850. The surgical service is requesting a Transonic AureFlo System. This system will be used to verify blood flow and graft quality. AureFlo is a portable, integrated flow measurement system to continuously measure, display, and capture absolute volume flow and other derived parameters. Real-time feedback allows for quick assessment and immediate, intraoperative action. The service has determined that this system best fits their needs. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Wednesday November 24, 2021 at 11AM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
