- SOURCES SOUGHT/MARKET SURVEY 2022 Air Delivery Effects Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) BAA-RWK-2022-S-0001 NAICS Code 541715 Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering and Life Science (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology) (Formerly known as Armament Technology BAA) I.� PURPOSE/BACKGROUND: AFRL/RWK, Eglin AFB is conducting a sources sought/market survey to gauge the interest in the various research topics associated with a future BAA.� This market survey is conducted to identify potential sources who would potentially possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements, translate basic research solutions to broadly defined needs, design and develop state of the art solutions, and evaluate potential for new operational capabilities by submitting white papers against the Air Delivery Effects BAA R&D requirements in 20 munitions related research areas of interest.� Contractors/Institutions responding to this sources sought/market survey are NOT being asked to submit white papers.� White papers should be submitted once the BAA is finalized and posted on SAM.gov at a date in the future.� Responses to this survey will be used to support the government�s market research requirements.���� Contractors/Institutions responding to this sources sought/market survey are placed on notice that participation in this survey will not ensure participation in contract awards as this survey is for planning purposes and will not result in a contract.� The Government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey. If Contractors/Institutions believe they may be interested in submitting white papers for one or more of the research topics below in response to a future BAA, please respond to the capabilities statement outlined below.� Responding to this sources sought/market survey DOES NOT obligate Contractors/Institutions to submit a white paper when the BAA is released.� Similarly, failure to respond to this sources sought/market survey DOES NOT preclude a contractor/institution from submitting a white paper when the BAA is released.� Descriptions/POCs of the various BAA Research Area topics will be posted with the BAA at a later date.
