- Description
- This is a special notice of intent to sole source. The Government is not seeking competitive quotes. The Western Area Power Administration, Rocky Mountain Region, intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis, services to repair a a 138/115kV Mobile Transformer under the authority of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Citation: 41 USC 1901: Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received by 11/29/2021 at 2 PM Mountain Time and shall include documentation on ability to satisfy the Government�s requirements. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
