- Notice Type: Presolicitation Title:� NRCS Ohio Emergency Water Shed Protection (EWP) Stream bank Stabilization project in Orange Township, Meigs County. Synopsis:�The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) � Acquisition Division intends to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to propose to contract a stream bank stabilization project along Henderson Road and Keebaugh-Follrod Road. ��� The project is an Emergency Water Program consisting of 109 Cubic Yards or grouted rock riprap, 131 Cubic Yards of woven wire mesh gabions with foundation and associated drainfill, and 374 Cubic Yards of rock riprap, and channel clearing and shaping.� The project will be located in Orange Township, Meigs County, Ohio.� The RFQ will be a Total Small Business set-aside.� Interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov in order to be eligible for award. The full solicitation package will be posted and available from this website on or around 7 Dec 21. A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13.� Payment Bond (SF-25A), Irrevocable Letter of Credit (ILC), or a Tripartite Escrow Agreement in the amount of 100% of the project cost will be required within 10 calendar days of award of the contract.� The anticipated period of performance for this project is 47 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.� The NAICS code for this solicitation is 237990, Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.� The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $39.5M. The site visit will be held on 14 Dec 21 at 10:30 EST.� A Site Visit Location Map for the work site will be attached to the solicitation document for additional location details. Questions shall be submitted via email before 12:00 EST on 21 Dec 21 and answers will be provided in an amendment. Bids will be due around 7 Jan 22.
