- Description
- This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 ""Synopsis of Proposed Contract Actions."" US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with Industrila Logic Systems, LLC (ILS). The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and DFARS 206.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. Contractor shall provide labor, material, and services to inspect and repair the ILS Control System installed on the dredge Yaquina. Provide services of OEM Technical Representative to accomplish inspection and repairs onboard the Dredge Vessel Yaquina. Industrial Logic Systems, LLC is the only known source having the proprietary knowledge and information relating to the dredge automation system installed on the Dredge Vessel Yaquina. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 334513 -Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing For Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables . The size standard is 750 employees for this NAICS code defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 02:00 PM local time on 09�December 2021, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
