Description

This posted announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Synopsis of a proposed contract action in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207. The Mission Installation Contracting Command - Fort Leavenworth intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements type contract (FAR Subpart 16.503) for the acquisition of elevator maintenance, service, repairs, and safety testing for passenger and freight elevators on Fort Leavenworth, KS. General Scope: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 238290 (Other Building Equipment Contractors). The small business size standard is $16.5 million average annual revenue for the previous five years. This requirement will be a full and open competition utilizing Sealed Bidding Procedures specified in FAR Part 14. The government anticipates an award will be made to a responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the invitation for bids; will be most advantageous to the Government, considering only price and the price related factors included in the invitation. This anticipated contract will consist of a Base Award Period of one (1) calendar year, and four (4) one-year option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed five (5) calendar years. Task Orders will range from $15,000 to $100,000.00. The �total of individual task orders placed against the resulting Requirements Contract will be dependent upon the Government�s bonafide and available funding Fiscal Year to Fiscal Year (e.g. some years there is potential for zero Task Orders where some Fiscal Years there may be a dozen or more). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. The site visit (Pre-Proposal Conference) is to be held 10:00am CST, Tuesday, January 11th, 2022 at MICC Fort Leavenworth.
