Description
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Firm Fixed Price modification to the Delivery Order N00019-17-F-0005 on the Basic Order Agreement (BOA) N00019-21-G-0006 with The Boeing Company (TBC), using the authority of FAR Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will result in the procurement of thirty (30) Retrofit Kits (Bag O Parts), KIN 1785LKA146792XX to retrofit the old Environmental Control System (ECS) Item 001 Primary Bleed Air Pressure Regulator (PBAR) and Shut Off Valve, Part Number 814201-8 removed from the Kuwait Super Hornet aircraft as complied with in AFC-718/ECP 6477C2. This retrofit effort will roll the old PBARs to the new PN 814201-9 and will be utilized as spares for the Kuwait Super Hornet aircraft. As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), only TBC possesses the unique and specialized engineering experience, resources, subject matter expertise, tooling, facilities, and manufacturing techniques, critical to satisfying the Government�s minimum requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit technical information and a technical capability statement in response to this notice. Responses without a return address, and company telephone will not be recognized. No phone calls will be accepted. Proprietary data in the response will be protected where so designated. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. A determination not to compete this proposed effort based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
