Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Tangible Security Inc. for Pro-V software licenses.��ProV enterprise�software allows organizations to provide automated access to their local IT resources for users�with smart cards from civilian and defense� organizations with their Personal Identity Verification�(PIV) card or Common Access Card (CAC). The Government contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 511210, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 7F20. THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties have five (5) days from the date of publication of this notice to submit in writing to the identified point of contact clear and convincing evidence of their qualifications and/or capabilities. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Reponses received after five (5) days, with or without the requiredinformation, will be considered non-responsive to this notice and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the Government's discretion. The Government will not reimburse for any expense incurred to respond to this notice. In theabsence of qualified sources, a contract will be awarded under the ""Other Than Full and Open Competition"" procedures, pursuant to 10 United StatesCode (U.S.C.) � 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. � 253(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b). All inquiries must be submitted in writing to dtra.belvoir.al.mbx.dtra-contract-opps@mail.mil and to the attention of Mr. Grant Reeves, Contract Specialist. Responses must also include your business name, point of contact, address, and telephone number. Telephonic inquiries will not be accepted.
