Description: This is a notice of intent to�award a sole source contract to COMTECH Mobile Datacom Corporation (COMTECH) under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� The contractor will provide service support, hardware, software, firmware, and proprietary ground stations to operate and maintain the Army�s Blue Force Tracking-1 (BFT-1) system. COMTECH is the developer of the BFT-1 System�s satellite network and owner of critical intellectual property necessary for operation of the network.
