- PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED.� The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a sole source,�blanket purchase agreement (BPA) contract with McKesson Medical-Surgical�Government Solutions, LLC�(Henrico,�VA)�for the purpose of�acquiring medical supplies for the FBI�s Medical Operations and Readiness Unit (MORU).�The FBI Operational Health and Emergency Medical Support Programs require the ability to purchase a broad scope of medical supplies in support of?Fit?for?Duty Mission Ready requirements, Protective Detail medical support, medical support for FBI?personnel responding?to man-made and natural disasters.�� McKesson Medical Surgical Government Solutions, LLC?is uniquely qualified to provide these services to the FBI based upon the following:?McKesson Medical?has?demonstrated knowledge of the unique needs of first response agencies.?This is reflected in their U.S. Government Federal Division which is focused on the?government�s?special needs. They have the experience of managing large orders in a timely manner with special requirements and?are able to?assure that the products which they provide meet the FBI-authorized table of allowances for medical providers. They have demonstrated the ability to provide?supplies to the government expeditiously during national and global crisis.?They have demonstrated the ability to flex with last minute requirements and�source?medical supplies and medications that may not have been procured by the FBI�previously.?�No other vendor researched has?the breadth and depth of products available for same day or next day shipping.?To utilize other companies will cause delays in acquisition and distribution.?Medical supplies are used on an unpredictable basis. McKesson�Medical�meets the requirement of having an online ordering platform with gatekeeper, and�visibility of product availability and recommended�alternatives. McKesson Medical has�proven reliable, prompt service of effective products.� This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration�s beta.SAM.gov website (www.beta.SAM.gov).� Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.SAM.gov site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.� The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is�423450 � Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is�200 employees.� The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by contacting�Christina�Wheeless�via email only at�CMWheeless@fbi.gov, no later than 1:00pm (Central) on�Friday,�December 10, 2021.� Responses sent via other means (i.e.�via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered.� Information received will be used solely for the purpose of determining�whether or not�to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.�� Vendors must be registered in SAM, effective July 29, 2012, to receive government contracts.� The FBI utilizes a financial system that has a direct interface with the SAM.� Please ensure that your company�s SAM information is updated and accurate.� This�includes:�TIN, EFT, DUNs, addresses, and contact information.� The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what�the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.�
