**Amendment 0001 is to post the Q&A and bring attention to a revision made to the submittal requirements for the capability statement regarding corporate experience. Revision applied in bold: �Submit a summary of your firm�s capability in meeting the FAA�s requirement as described in Attachment I - Draft Statement of Work, and provide a minimum of two�(2) examples of your firm�s corporate experience in performing similar work where each example services at least 40 buildings and has a minimum of 1,000 occupants or each example services at least 1,100,000 gross square feet and has a minimum of 1,000 occupants. ___________________________________________________________________________ Title:� Market Survey: William J. Hughes Technical Center ************** (1)�INTRODUCTION The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Facilities Operations & Maintenance Section (ANG-E332) at the William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) has an upcoming requirement for custodial services as described in Attachment I - Draft Statement of Work.� This requirement is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The purpose of this market survey announcement is to solicit capability statements from interested companies. (2)�NATURE OF COMPETITION The acquisition strategy for this procurement has not been determined at this time.� The results of this market survey will be used as a determining factor in deciding on the level of competition.� Depending on the results of this market survey, the FAA may decide to do an unrestricted competition or set aside the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. Potential sources are cautioned that no further announcements may be made if a competitive small business set-aside is deemed viable. (3) STANDARD LANGUAGE (a) This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey, and responses will not be returned; (d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendor�s expense; (e) The FAA reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any input as a result of this market survey; (f) Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey or results of information submitted; and (g) Any confidential or proprietary information submitted in response to this announcement must be marked accordingly by the vendor.� Such information will not be disclosed outside of the acquisition team. (4) NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 561720, �Janitorial Services� with a size standard of $19.5M. (5) SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS FOR MARKET SURVEY (a) Capability Statement: Submit a summary of your firm�s capability in meeting the FAA�s requirement as described in Attachment I - Draft Statement of Work, and provide a minimum of two�(2) examples of your firm�s corporate experience in performing similar work where each example services at least 40 buildings and has a minimum of 1,000 occupants or each example services at least 1,100,000 gross square feet and has a minimum of 1,000 occupants. This statement must not exceed five (5) pages in length. Please reference Attachment II- WJHTC Building Database for additional details on facilities to be serviced. (b) Statement providing the firm�s business classification size.� Each firm claiming 8(a) status is required to provide a copy of its SBA 8(a) certification letter with its submission as evidence of 8(a) eligibility. (6) DELIVERY OF SUBMITTALS All questions regarding this market survey must be submitted electronically via email to the Contracting Officer, Jeffery Young at jeffrey.young@faa.gov by no later than 5 PM (EST) on November 30, 2021.�� Interested companies must submit their response to this market survey electronically via email to the Contracting Officer, Jeffery Young at jeffrey.young@faa.gov by no later than 5 PM (EST) on December 7, 2021.� No telephone calls will be accepted.
