Solicitation Number:� FA8121-21-Q-0005 NAICS: 336412 FSC Code: 4710 SB Set Aside Status:� N/A Subject:� Spares Buy of the F100-PW-229 Tube Assembly, Metal ����������� ��� NSN: 4710-01-318-5083NZ; P/N 4076853-01 Description: The Government intends to issue a competitive solicitation on or about 20 January 2021 with a close date of 20 February 2021 for the spares buy (supply) of the F100-PW-229 Tube Assembly, Metal.� The requirement is anticipated to be a Firm Fixed Price, Fixed Quantity contract.� This notice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per USAF PR FD2030-21-00414 as follows: 1) Item description and function:� 7.30 inches long X 7.30 inches wide X 23.50 inches high, weighing 2 lbs., and composed of Predom Titanium. The outside diameter 0.750 inches, nominal wall thickness .031, end connection style B4 plain design form Prebent.� This item supplies oil to the engine. This is a CRITICAL SAFETY ITEM (CSI), MQR-PSD-1 and EIM-1 apply. 2) List of applicable CLINs: CLIN 0001:� Supply of NSN(s): 4710-01-318-5083NZ P/N: 4076853-01 Noun:� Tube Assembly, Metal Quantity:� 4 EA Delivery is anticipated to be: ���������������� 2 units on 01 OCT 2022 ���������������� 2 units on 01 NOV 2022 �������������������������� *Early delivery is acceptable. CLIN 0002:� Supply of NSN(s): 4710-01-318-5083NZ P/N: 4076853-01 Noun:� Tube Assembly, Metal Quantity:� 1 EA (FIRST ARTICLE) Delivery is anticipated to be: ����������� 1 unit within 90 days of contract award date ����������� Deliver to FY2303 ����������������������� *Early delivery is acceptable. � CLIN 0003:� Supply of NSN(s): 4710-01-318-5083NZ P/N: 4076853-01 Noun:� Tube Assembly, Metal Quantity:� 2 EA (FIRST ARTICLE) Delivery is anticipated to be: ����������� 2 unit 90 days of contract award date.� ����������� Deliver to FY2303 ����������������������� *Early delivery is acceptable. 3) Quality Requirements: Higher Level Contract Quality Requirements, AS 9100 4) First Article Requirements: Find applicable First Article form attached. 5) Engineering Instructions: Find applicable Engineering Data List (EDL) and Engineering Instructions (EIM-1) attached. 6) Qualification Requirements�� Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award.��To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements, MQR-PSD-1.��The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs) and/or approved manufacturing sources.�Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible.��If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the solicitation is closed, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. OMBUDSMAN (AUG 2005) (An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.) The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
