Description

The 81st Contracting Squadron intends to make a sole source award to Tescan USA for the procurement of�a TESCAN HADF R-STEM (FIB/SEM) Detector G3. The proposed acquisition will be made for the Keesler Clinical Research Laboratory.The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516, and the PSC is 6640.� The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price contract as a result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from BETASAM since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any DoD Agency. Any interested party may submit a proposal which will be considered by this organization. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under authority of FAR 13.106(1)(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received on or before the offer due date specified on the solicitation/RFQ will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
