- Description
- The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to acquire renewal of ProSystem fx Tax Software�subscription with CCH Incorporated using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures not to exceed $750,000.� IRS, Large Business & International uses the software to perform complex foreign tax calculations on 1040s , Minimum Tax Credit, Passive loss limitations, Foreign Tax Credit limitation, Alternative Minimum Tax Foreign Tax Credit limitations, or Automatically do any carrybacks between multiple years.� Period of performance is Date of Award through twelve months. CCH Incorporated is the sole source and provider of ProSystem fx Tax Software. This requirement will be made on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1 and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).� A sole source justification � Simplified Acquisitions has been documented in the contract file in writing.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 511210, and the business standard size is 41.5 M. This is�published as a notice of intent not a request for proposals or an invitation for bids.� No solicitation shall be issued, therefore such requests for solicitation shall be considered non-responsive.�� A determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses to this announcement is solely within the discretion of the� Government. �If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government. Potential sources who believe they can provide the subscription service listed above are invited to submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 12:00 p.m., December 9, 2021 (Eastern Time).� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.� A determination by the Government to complete this proposed contract action based on responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
