December 2, 2021 � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � ��SYNOPSIS The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Installation Contracting Office, West Point, NY (MICC-West Point) is issuing this SYNOPSIS for a �Dell Unity Network Storage� at West Point, NY. This requirement will be a Brand Name competed through CHESS under NAICS code 334112- Computer Storage Device Manufacturing, and FSC/PSC of 7K20. In addition: a) In order to be eligible for award, business must be registered as a CHESS Contract Holder in accordance with the Solicitation Business Size identified in Chess Solicitation, and under the appropriate NAICS code. b) AFARS 5139.101-90(a)(1) The Army�s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program, under the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems, is the mandatory source for commercial information technology (IT) hardware and software purchases. c) 5139.101-90 Policy d)�Commercial information technology hardware and software. �The Army�s Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) program, under the Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems, is the mandatory source for commercial IT hardware and software purchases.� CHESS contracts provide IT products and services that comply with U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command, Army and DoD policy and standards. Please verify that both the DUNS#, Cage Code are current and valid in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Offerors are reminded to carefully review solicitation documents issued as criteria is stated in the solicitation and shall govern. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 8, 2021 in electronic format only and will be available on the Internet at: Army Chess IT Site (https://chess.army.mil).
