- DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Lake City VAMC, 619 S. Marion Ave, FL 32025-5808, intends to award on a Sole Source basis a maintenance contract for the Siemens Building Automation System Controls. The proposed source is Siemens Industry Inc (SI), Building Technologies Division, Jacksonville, FL. This service contract will ensure routine and preventative maintenance to existing Siemens Building Automation and Control System (BAS) which controls the hospital s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and associated subsystems. SI Service Engineers have the Manufacturer s passcodes for the software and firmware. TERMS: 1. The projected Period of Performance of the contract is for 1 Base Year with 4 annual option years. LICENSE AND ACCREDITATION 1. Field Service Engineer must possess a Siemens certificate of technical training. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. The proposed NAICS 238220 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $16.5 million. Parties may identify their interest, accompanied by supporting literature to the Contracting Officer no later than 10/9/2021 at 4:30PM EST. Responses should be sent to shirley.courtney@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement will be solely up to the government.
