Description
In accordance with FAR Part 10, Market Research, this is a sources sought to determine the availability of potential sources/vendors having the skills and capabilities necessary to furnish ambulance services for the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center in Ohio. All interested contractors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including, commercial market information. The sources sought notice is for information and planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The VA is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced and interested potential sources relative to NAICS 621910, Ambulance Services. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be incurred by interested parties in responding to the sources sought announcement. The VA requires Service to transport beneficiaries including physically or mentally handicapped individuals, aged and infirm persons, their attendants, and personal belongings between points in Ohio. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to transport VA beneficiaries by Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advance Life Support (ALS), ambulance services. Contractor shall provide all BLS/ ALS Ambulance services as stated in the scope of work for veteran beneficiaries, when requested by the VA. The minimum numbers of ALS/BLS capable Ambulance vehicles are outlined below: Hours Minimum number of ALS/BLS ambulances Remarks On site 24 hours/7 days week/365 days a year 0 Includes weekends and Federal Holidays 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM 9 Normal working hours , which is between the hours of 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays. 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM 0 Other than normal working hours , which is between the hours of 8:00 PM and 6:00AM, Monday through Friday and all-day Saturday, Sunday, and Federal Holidays.
