- Description
- This is an information-only market survey for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).� The Agency is looking for qualified and capable vendors to�provide all labor, materials, equipment, and coordination to support a construction contract for the installation of a new sewage connection, from an existing FAA septic tank system, to a 3rd party sewage system at Aspen/Pitkin County Airport�s ATCT in Aspen, CO. Major work items include, but not limited to, the following: Install new sewage connection from an existing FAA septic tank Have private and public locates done and provide redlines to the FAA. Remove all unused portions of the existing septic tank system. Provide temporary toilets, hand washing stations, and drinking Restore parking lot after installation of sewage line and septic tank removal. Fill voids as needed for septic tank removal Restore landscaping features as needed. Paint parking lot as needed. Maintain vehicle and pedestrian access to ATCT and airfield access. Provide temporary parking as needed (Cone and/or Paint). This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. The nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or a set-aside for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses. The purpose of this market survey is to identify capable contractors and to understand the current marketplace in terms of small businesses, and ALL other business types and sizes. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with firm's Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested firm's expense. RESPONSE TO THIS MARKET SURVEY: Any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Firm participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA.
