- Page 2 of 2 THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: The Boise VA Medical Center (VAMC) requires Prospective contractors to provide the following Alpha Modalities A-TSL Series Sling. This is a Brand name requirement. Item # Part Number Description Qty 1 A-TSLIT-F8-RC-45-TAA A-TSL Sling Flat sling blue integrated top sheet-wicking-woven antimicrobial F8 Recoil Straps SWL 454 kg 45 W X 86 L with Logo Boise VA Medical Center 75 Salient Characteristics Repositioning/Transfer slings: Must be compatible for use with loop spreader bar ceiling lift systems with either 2 or 4 pt. Must have a safe working load of 454 kg (1000lbs) since they are also a full body lift sling. Must have a width of 45 and length of 86 . Machine wash and dry capacity of up to but not to exceed 176 F. Made of wicking material to support a safe microclimate feature to reduce heat/moisture and reduce risk of pressure ulcers. Patient surface must be single layer, completely seamless patient surface area to reduce risk of high pressure points on the patient. Combining the benefits of a sling with bed linen. 4 loop recoil straps to provide lift height alternatives, precise equal pressure when turning or lifting patient up in bed. RESPONSES SHOULD INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: company name, address, and business size, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address, OEM Certifications for Technicians to provide the services must be included in the response. OEM documentation confirming access to all required OEM parts must be included in the response. Please note whether system is presently offered on a current Government contract.
