Description

Project Title: 3rd Floor FMCSA Suite Security Upgrade and Space Refresh Project Location: General Services Administration, Montpelier Federal Building, 87 State Street, Montpelier, VT, 05602 The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the refresh of the FMCSA Suite, on the 3rd floor of the Montpelier, VT Federal Building. The project includes: Demolition of existing storage room. Construction of a new secure entry vestibule. Re-working and adding electrical receptacles for new vestibule. Removal and disposal of 6 existing cubicles. Replacement of data cabling throughout Suite. Replacement of lighting throughout Suite. Reworking of HVAC system, replacing light mounted devices with standard drop in ceiling devices. Replacement of acoustical ceiling. Expansion of existing HSPD-12 Access control system for 2 new doors and partition. Installation of new Intrusion Detection System. Installation of new Camera System. Installation of new AiPhone intercom system. Removal and replacement of carpet. Painting of entire Suite. The RFP will be issued on or about 01/05/2022. A pre-proposal site visit conference is tentatively scheduled for 1/12/2022 @ 10:00 am, at the Montpelier Federal Building, 87 State Street, Montpelier, VT. Check RFP for actual site visit date. Bids are anticipated to be due on 01/26/2022, check RFP for actual bid due date. Award is anticipated to be on or about 02/09/2022 with Notice to Proceed on or about 03/02/2022. Period of performance is Substantial Completion 150 days from NTP and Contract Close out 180 days from NTP.
