Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT The General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following warehouse space: State:�� �Illinois City:�� �Southwest Chicago Suburbs� Delineated Area:�� See narrative below and map attached to announcement. North - Illinois Route 64 (also known as North Ave.) South � Starting at U.S. Route 6 (also known as 159th St.); west on U.S. Route 6 until it turns into Illinois Route 7 (also known as 159th St. and then 9th St.); west on Illinois Route 7 until Renwick Road; continue west on Renwick Road until west boundary of Illinois Route 59� East - Illinois Route 50 through Illinois Route �83 (also known as Cicero Ave.) West - Illinois Route 59 (also known as Division St. and then Historic U.S. 66) Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):�� �10,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA):�� �11,000 Space Type:�� �Warehouse and related space Parking Spaces (Structured):�� �0 Full Term:�� �24 months Firm Term:�� �12 months Additional Requirements:�� � Offered space must be contiguous. Offered space must have the ability to have temperature control, including both heating and cooling. � Minimum ceiling clearance in the workshop areas must be 15 feet or greater.� It is preferred that the offered space have at least one 14-foot-high by 12-foot-wide electrically operated overhead coiling garage door. Spaces that do not already have an existing 14-foot-high by 12-foot-wide electrically operated overhead coiling garage door will only be considered if no other buildings that meet this requirement are available. If the space does not have an existing garage door, it must be able to accommodate a 14-foot-high by 12-foot-wide garage door.� The garage door entry must be grade level or have an adequate ramp to drive vehicles in and out of the space.� Access to the building must be large enough to accommodate large, long, tall, heavy vehicles. First floor space in a single-story structure is preferred. A two-story building shall only be considered when no other space is available, and in that case, first floor space must be included as a part of the total offered space.� The Government shall not consider any space or facility where other tenants are located above or below them. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. � A fully serviced lease is required. � Offered space shall not be in the [100] year flood plain.
