- Is temporary fencing required around the entire project? A: Yes Confirm, Yes or No to concrete or other work on East side of project. A: See provided drawing At the corner of Teague Place and Road 1 it is noted to connect a drain to the storm drain system. This will include closing of the intersection and extensive digging to accomplish. Was this to be included in the SOW? A: Please see provided drawing. There are (2) two low areas on the west curb line. If these are raised to eliminate ponding it will not match the existing sidewalk. Please advise how this is to be addressed. A: Install new drain inlet that is flush with sidewalk. Inlet to be tied to existing storm sewer system. Can you provide plans of any utilities or locate any utilities in the SOW? A: Please see attached drawing What is the average depth of the asphalt to be removed? A: 3 inches Item 7 of the SOW states the ADA ramp will be replaced. Which ADA ramps need to be replaced? Exhibit A does not specify. A: Please see attached drawing. The handicap ramp on the north end of the road does not currently drain & we are instructed to correct this. The issue is that there is no way to make this drain with the existing grades of the surrounding curb & paving that is to remain (we have performed a detailed topo on this intersection previously & know it will not drain). In order to keep all bidders on a level playing field, please provide an engineered design to fix this issue. A: Please see attached drawings Please confirm that the sidewalk & curb along the west side of this road is to be completely removed & replaced. A: Please see attached drawing. Please confirm that the curbs/sidewalks on the east side of this road will remain. A: Please see attached drawing.
