- This Sources Sought Notice is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as an invitation for bid, request for quotation, request for proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Your response to this Sources Sought Notice will be treated as information only. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this announcement or the Government use of such information. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15, is seeking sources for potential indefinite-quantity contracts to provide Community Nursing Home Services within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 15. The intended performance period will be one 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month options, if exercised. The VA is interested in potential sources that can provide the appropriate level of Community Nursing Home Care to the beneficiaries of the above mentioned VISN 15 Medical Centers. Interested parties are encouraged to respond with the level of care they can provide as well as number of applicable beds for Veterans and their CMS Star Rating. This is a sources sought announcement ONLY and is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A response to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining competition, availability, and potential eligibility for participation in the VA s Community Nursing Home Program (CNHP).
